The 2025 event has raised R200 000 and all was donated to the 5 organizations; we have been supporting the last 25 years. Off Course we could not have done this without Your Entries and participation and our two Main Sponsors Tru Cape and the JMGRP (Boland Toilets and Talisman Ceres). To ALL a Big Thank You.
The funds were raised and contributed to various charitable organizations such as our local old age homes (Ceres Tuiste, Maudi Kriel) and schools (Charlie Hoffmeyer, FD Conradie and Gericke Primary).
Eselfontein in Ceres, WC, is having their 3Day Festival on 23-25 October 2026, if you are familiar with Eselfontein you will know that this is a hidden gem for MTB riders and Trail runners. With different tracks calculating to almost 100km and off which 80% is single track.
A Little more on Eselfontein Festival:
- We have been running this Festival for 25 years.
- This is a Festival held for charity, all working and helping is doing this giving their time, except the farm workers as marshals and the ladies cleaning the ablution and showers.
- We cap the number of riders and runners on the 3-Day Stage race to 300 each, as the Eselfontein MTB trails is mostly single track. With this said, this is the part that keeps Eselfontein exclusive.
